Job Summary

Serve as the critical human-in-the-loop for an AI-driven accounting platform by reviewing, validating, and signing off financial statements and tax filings to ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and ACRA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate financial statements generated by the AI accounting platform to ensure accuracy and compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS)
• Officially sign off on financial statements and tax filings to meet ACRA regulatory requirements
• Manage general ledger activities and perform financial analysis to support accurate reporting
• Prepare and review tax filings, ensuring compliance with Singapore tax regulations and effective tax planning
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to support compliance and risk management initiatives
• Utilize advanced accounting software and spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel) to analyze financial data and streamline processes
• Apply professional ethics and accounting standards knowledge to maintain integrity in all financial reporting
• Organize work to meet deadlines with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Integrate AI tools into accounting and tax preparation workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Required competencies and certifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification with solid knowledge of accounting standards and professional ethics

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Experience in a public accounting firm or corporate finance environment
• Familiarity with ERP systems
• Experience or willingness to learn AI integration in accounting processes
