Billing Supervisor Responsibilities & Duties

• Lead and manage a team of billing specialists to ensure accurate and efficient billing operations
• Oversee billing processes by reviewing and approving billing reports and invoices before client delivery
• Develop and implement billing procedures to enhance process efficiency and ensure regulatory compliance
• Resolve billing and payment issues promptly to maintain client satisfaction and operational continuity
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all billing activities and transactions
• Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal departments to address and resolve billing concerns

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume billing environment
• Experience collaborating with clients and stakeholders across organizational levels
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in billing or related functions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and billing software
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities demonstrated through team management
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills applied in client and team interactions
• Detail-oriented approach with analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure billing accuracy
