Role Overview:

Assistant Project Manager (Geotechnical/Ground Improvement) to support the planning, coordination, and execution of geotechnical and foundation works for construction projects. The ideal candidate is technically competent, organized, and capable of assisting the project management team in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing geotechnical works, including piling, excavation, soil stabilization, and foundation works.

• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resources, providing regular progress updates to senior management.

• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.

• Support the review of geotechnical reports, design drawings, method statements, and risk assessments.

• Assist in procurement activities, including reviewing quotations, contracts, and subcontractor proposals.

• Track and report project progress, risks, and issues, escalating where necessary.

• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards on-site.

• Support on-site problem-solving and coordination of multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in geotechnical or civil engineering projects.

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related discipline.

• Knowledge of geotechnical methods, foundation works, and construction processes.
