We are looking for an Assistant Manager / Manager, Industry Partnerships & Employer Ecosystem to join our growing team and play a key role in building meaningful industry connections that create career opportunities for our students and graduates.

About the Role

Reporting to the Director, SEED, you will lead the development and management of LSBF's employer and industry engagement strategy.

You will build partnerships with employers, professional bodies, and industry stakeholders to create internship, industrial attachment, and graduate employment opportunities. You will also work closely with internal teams to ensure students gain valuable industry exposure and are well prepared for the workforce.

Key Responsibilities

Industry Partnerships & Business Development

• Identify, develop, and manage relationships with employers, industry partners, and professional organisations
• Build a pipeline of new partnership opportunities aligned with LSBF's employability strategy
• Act as the key point of contact for industry partners and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
• Monitor industry trends, hiring needs, and workforce developments to identify emerging opportunities

Student & Graduate Employability

• Work with employers to secure internships, industrial attachments, graduate opportunities, and employment pathways
• Connect students and graduates with relevant career opportunities and industry contacts
• Facilitate employer introductions, networking opportunities, and recruitment activities

Employer Engagement Programmes

• Plan and deliver employer-facing events such as career fairs, networking sessions, industry talks, and workshops
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop industry-relevant programmes and initiatives
• Support cross-campus experiential learning and student mobility initiatives where relevant

Partnership Administration & Compliance

• Maintain partnership records, agreements, and stakeholder databases
• Track partnership outcomes and engagement activities
• Support budgeting and reporting requirements for partnership initiatives
• Ensure partnerships meet institutional, legal, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

Essential

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, or a related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, partnerships, employer engagement, corporate relations, account management, recruitment, or a similar relationship-driven role
• Strong networking, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities
• Experience managing projects and working across multiple stakeholders
• Comfortable engaging both corporate partners and students

Preferred

• Experience within higher education, education services, training organisations, or workforce development initiatives
• Experience working with internship, employability, recruitment, or graduate hiring programmes
• Familiarity with employer engagement, industry relations, or partnership development frameworks
• Experience building new programmes, partnerships, or initiatives from the ground up
