Job Description

• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end closing.
• Responsible for the accurate production of monthly P&L, Balance Sheet including liaising with project managers for WIP management and reporting.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations
• Assist in treasury matters, including monthly financial and cash flow forecasts to ensure sufficient cash requirement
• Prepare yearly and project forecasting
• Reconcile and coordinate on intercompany billings, ledgers and banks
• Update cashflow; posting of invoices in QuickBooks
• Prepare and consolidate financial statements, financial reports, management reports, special analysis, graphical presentations to both internal and external stakeholders
• Perform variance analysis, cost benefit analysis of projects
• Financial audit preparation and coordinate the audit process
• Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures
• Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies
• Supervision of the accounts staff in Dubai / Oman office
• Other ad-hoc duties as and when required by the Management

Job Requirements

• Bachelor in Finance, Accounting or related field
• At least 5 years of experience, preferably in engineering sector
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP and other financial regulations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to work independently with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
• Proficiency in Microsoft suite of applications
