5.5 Days Work Week

On-call duties required
Rostered on-call (about 1 week every 1–2 months)Rarely required after midnight

Experience:
Candidates with no CVL experience are welcome
Training will be provided

Role Scope:
• Provide nursing support in Diagnostic Imaging Department and Cardiac Vascular Lab (CVL)
• Assist Radiologists, Cardiologists and Specialists during imaging and invasive procedures
• Prepare sterile trolleys and set up equipment for CVL and imaging procedures
• Insert IV cannula for contrast examinations when required
• Perform ECG and newborn hearing screening
• Ensure consent forms and patient preparation are completed prior to procedures
• Explain procedures to patients and provide reassurance when needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and medication records
• Check emergency trolley and ensure readiness of drugs and equipment
• Monitor stock levels and support departmental inventory checks
• Participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives and operational support

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with valid SNB
• Experience in Cath Lab or Radiology preferred
