Youth Worker (Part-Time) – Primary School Programme
💰 $28–$35/hour (Approx. $2,425–$3,030/month)
🕒 Mon–Fri | 12:30pm – 5:30pm (hours may vary based on school needs)
⏱ 20 hours/week

About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and empathetic Youth Worker to support primary school students in an after-school programme, particularly those who may need additional care and guidance.

Key Responsibilities
✨ Plan and facilitate daily engagement, enrichment, and values-based activities
🧠 Support life skills development (emotional regulation, communication, problem-solving, resilience)
🤝 Build positive relationships through mentoring and guidance
🔎 Identify early signs of emotional or behavioural concerns and escalate when necessary
🏫 Work closely with teachers, school counsellors, and relevant personnel
📞 Communicate with parents and external partners when required
📝 Maintain programme records and ensure smooth daily operations

Requirements
🎓 Diploma or Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Child Development, Youth Work, or related fields
👩‍🏫 Experience working with children or youth preferred
💬 Strong interpersonal and communication skills
🎯 Ability to design and facilitate age-appropriate programmes
❤️ Patient, empathetic, and able to manage after-school environments
