a) Reports directly to the Project Manager and is responsible for overseeing the implementation and maintenance of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) systems.

b) Key duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assist and advise the Project Manager in the planning and execution of EHS measures across the full project scope and specific activities.
• Review and fully comprehend the requirements of the company’s ISO standards, EHS policies, and sub-contractor agreements.
• Liaise with relevant authorities, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to EHS standards; authorized to take necessary corrective actions, including issuing partial stop-work orders in consultation with the Project Manager.
• Manage the reporting and investigation of all accidents and incidents on site.
• Collaborate with project team members and subcontractors to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
• A key responsibility is to proactively prevent penalties, demerit points, or stop-work orders from regulatory bodies such as MOM, NEA, and HDB—this is also a critical performance indicator for the WSHO cum ECO role.
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the Project Manager to support the successful delivery of the project.
