Job Summary

Prepare and cook Western dishes following standard recipes and portion guidelines while maintaining kitchen hygiene and supporting smooth kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook Western dishes according to standard recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistent quality
• Present food that meets company standards for appearance and appeal
• Assist in developing menus and seasonal specials to enhance customer offerings
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene in compliance with SFA regulations to ensure food safety
• Support inventory management by receiving and storing supplies accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with the Head Chef and outlet managers to coordinate kitchen activities and ensure smooth operations
• Train and guide junior staff to improve their cooking skills and adherence to kitchen standards
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment by managing multiple orders effectively and maintaining productivity

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• At least 1–2 years of experience in cooking Western cuisine
• Culinary certificate or diploma is an advantage but not mandatory
• Passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Effective teamwork and communication skills to support kitchen collaboration
• Have gone through Halal course / prepare to go through Halal course.
