Job Descriptions

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts.
• Weld small and large components such as copper plumbing, beams, and pipelines.
• Use specialized machinery for industrial welding and oversee machines that perform the same job.
• Maintain and repair all machinery.
• Assess welded surfaces, structures and components to identify errors.
• Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes.
• Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature.
• Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
• Determining the right welding equipment or method based on specifications.
• Identifying the metals and materials to be used in a welding project.
• Operating equipment to cut and shape metal in preparation for welding.
• Aligning components using callipers, rulers and clamp pieces.
• Fusing metal components using welding equipment.
• Testing and inspecting welded surfaces and structures to find flaws.
• Conducting regular safety inspections on machines.
• Using electrical or manual tools.

Essential Responsibilities :

• Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
• Set up and weld high temperature alloys in the repair of Turbine Blades/Aeroderivative products using TIG process
• Perform blending repair of Turbine Blades/Aeroderivative products
• Ensure product quality, equipment care, meet production output/pace, housekeeping and schedules.
• Adhere to all applicable EHS rules and regulations and report immediately any unsafe practices/conditions.
• Carries out other duties as assigned.
