Job Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Operations Manager to lead and oversee daily warehousing and logistics operations. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, improving workflow efficiency, managing resources effectively, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards.

The ideal candidate is structured, analytical, and capable of making sound operational decisions while leading cross-functional teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Oversight

• Lead end-to-end daily warehouse operations to ensure smooth and efficient execution
• Develop, review, and enhance operational SOPs and workflows
• Track performance metrics and implement corrective actions where required

Team Leadership & Workforce Management

• Supervise, coach, and develop warehouse personnel
• Conduct hiring, onboarding, and performance reviews
• Foster a collaborative and performance-driven work culture

Process Optimization

• Identify workflow gaps and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Leverage operational data to enhance productivity and service levels
• Drive efficiency improvements across manpower and resource allocation

Financial & Budget Control

• Plan and manage departmental budgets
• Monitor operating costs and implement cost control measures
• Prepare operational and financial reports for management review

Compliance & Safety Management

• Ensure adherence to local regulatory requirements and company policies
• Enforce workplace safety standards and risk mitigation measures
• Maintain operational compliance documentation

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

• Manage external vendors and service providers
• Negotiate service agreements and monitor performance against SLAs
• Ensure timely delivery and operational reliability

Customer Service Excellence

• Maintain high service standards to support customer satisfaction
• Address escalations and operational concerns promptly

Reporting & Strategic Input

• Prepare regular operational performance reports
• Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership
• Support management with strategic operational planning

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Supply Chain or related discipline
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in warehousing or logistics operations
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and safety standards

Advantageous

• Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems
• Prior exposure to structured process improvement initiatives
