Job Summary

The Warehouse Assistant supports the Supervisor in daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and delivery tasks, assigned according to operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Support daily logistics operations in receiving, storage, and delivery areas to ensure smooth workflow
• Inspect commodities during receiving, packing, and delivery for accurate documentation, correct contents, and any damage
• Handle all commodities carefully to prevent damage throughout warehouse processes
• Maintain stock accuracy by applying the First-In-First-Out system consistently in the warehouse
• Control and maintain material handling equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
• Exercise caution when moving commodities to prevent accidents and damage
• Segregate rejected commodities by placing them in the quarantine area and store accepted commodities in designated locations
• Collect and deliver commodities to suppliers and customers according to order requirements
• Comply with Occupational Health & Safety laws, regulations, codes of practice, and customer requirements to maintain a safe workplace
• Perform general housekeeping to keep the warehouse clean and safe

Requirements

• Minimum Secondary education
• Ability to communicate and write simple English
