We are seeking experienced tutors to support students enrolled in the Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) programme in Singapore. Students are aged 16–18 and are primarily Chinese nationals. All instruction is conducted in English.

The role involves subject tutoring, academic reinforcement, exam preparation, and supervised study support.

Subjects Required

• Mathematics

• Advanced Mathematics

• English (EALD)

• Accounting

• Physics

• Business Studies

• Chinese Language

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver WACE-aligned tutoring sessions in assigned subjects

• Prepare students for coursework, assessments, and examinations

• Monitor and report on student academic progress

• Supervise structured study and revision sessions

• Coordinate with academic staff to ensure syllabus alignment

Working Hours

• Weekdays:

  • 9:00am – 12:00pm

  • 2:00pm – 5:00pm

  • 5:00pm – 7:00pm

• Weekends (as scheduled):

  • 9:00am – 12:00pm

  • 2:00pm – 5:00pm

Salary / Remuneration

• Full-Time Tutor: To Be Discussed

• Part-Time Tutor: SGD $50 – $70 per hour

Higher rates may be considered for candidates with strong WACE track records or extensive pre-university teaching experience.

Requirements

• Proven experience teaching or tutoring the WACE curriculum

• Strong subject mastery in at least one listed subject

• Experience with international or pre-university students preferred

• Good communication and classroom management skills

• Able to commit to scheduled teaching hours

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field

• Teaching or tutoring certification preferred
