Job Overview:

We are seeking a Turf and Landscape Specialist to conduct innovative trials and evaluations of sustainable products and practices in the industry. This role will focus on testing robotic mowers, battery-operated tools, drone technology, and advanced agronomy products. The specialist will work toward promoting sustainable solutions that build an eco-friendly environment, enhance turf health, and improve landscape resilience. By exploring different solutions, this position will help establish Terranex Pte Ltd as a leader in green technology for turf and landscape management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage trials for eco-friendly fertilizers, organic amendments, and other sustainable products to promote turf health and environmental resilience.
• Conduct trials for robotic mowers, outdoor battery-operated power tools, and drone technology to assess their role in building eco-friendly landscapes with low carbon footprints.
• Gather, analyze, and report on data related to product efficacy, environmental impact, and cost-effectiveness.
• Use drones equipped with sensing technology for real-time data on plant health, soil moisture, and stress indicators, focusing on sustainable resource use.
• Evaluate various fertilizers, including organic and eco-friendly products, to determine their impact on turf health, soil quality, and sustainability.
• Assess the performance of autonomous equipment and battery-operated tools under eco-friendly practices to promote zero-emission landscape management.
• Collaborate and work closely with external stakeholders to share insights on sustainable landscaping practices, supporting the industry-wide transition to green technology.
• Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and case studies summarizing trial results for stakeholders and clients.
• Present findings in industry forums and events to showcase the potential of sustainable solutions in turf and landscape management.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or trade certificate in Turf Management, Agronomy, Environmental Science, Horticulture, or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in field trials, sustainable landscaping, or product testing, ideally with eco-friendly fertilizers and green technology solutions.
• Knowledge of eco-friendly fertilizers, organic soil amendments, and sustainable landscape management practices.
• Proficiency in data collection, remote sensing, sustainability analysis, and environmental impact assessment.
• Experience with robotic mowers, drone technology, and battery-operated equipment is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• A valid Class 3 driver’s license
