Responsibilities:

• Drive the Company’s truck for collection and transportation of waste.
• Ensure compliance with all Traffic rules, and to practice safe driving habits whilst driving the Company’s trucks.
• Comply with all rules governing the transportation of hazardous liquids/chemicals on public roads.
• Comply with all anti-littering laws and to this end, ensure that proper containers, bins, drums etc., are used to hold the Waste, for safe transportation.
• Ensure that the containers, bins, drums etc., are properly secured/lashed to the truck, before driving off.
• Carry out daily operator-level maintenance on the company trucks.
• Monitor the Maintenance and/or LTA’s Inspection schedules of the Company’s trucks and to inform the Supervisor, at least two (2) weeks before the due date.
• Monitor the validity date of the Road Tax and/or Vehicle Insurance policy and inform the Supervisor at least two (2) weeks before the expiry date.
• Assist in the collection of waste from clients’ premises.
• Assist in the unloading, segregation and storage of the Waste.
• In discharging the above duties, to adhere to all Plant Safety Rules and observe safe work practices.

• Requirements:

  • Possess Class 4/5 driving license (Good record).
  • With prime mover, vacuum truck or flatbed experience preferred.
  • Able to read and write simple English.

  Remuneration:

  • Basic: $2,400
  • Gross Salary: $3,500 – $4,500 (Inclusive of trip allowance)
  • Monday to Friday: 8am to 5pm; Saturday: 8am to 12pm
  • Company Transport / Transport Allowance ($120) if he/she manages own transport
