Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated executive support to the Managing Director, serving as the key liaison between the MD and internal teams, headquarters, and external business partners.
• Deliver real-time verbal interpretation during meetings, discussions, and presentations between Japanese and English-speaking stakeholders.
• Translate business documents, reports, emails, and presentation materials accurately between Japanese and English.
• Support cross-border communication by conveying management instructions clearly and professionally to regional teams and partners.
• Accompany the MD on overseas business trips when required, providing on-site interpretation and coordination support.
• Coordinate travel arrangements, meeting schedules, and logistics for the MD and visiting overseas delegates.
• Assist with administrative matters such as expense claims, documentation, and internal coordination across departments.
• Provide general executive and operational support on ad-hoc assignments as directed by the MD.

Requirements:

• Possess at least a Diploma in Business or related studies.
• Strong bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English (minimum JLPT N2 or equivalent), with the ability to interpret and translate in a professional business setting.
• At least 2 years of experience in translation, interpretation, or executive support in a corporate environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and common workplace collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, or similar platforms).
• Highly organised, adaptable, and able to handle confidential matters with discretion; comfortable with occasional overseas travel.
