Responsibilities:

• Lead the Tender Team in evaluating tender proposals for building projects valued at SGD100 million or more.
• Conduct feasibility studies, review tender documents, project specifications, and contract terms to ensure alignment with company capabilities and financial objectives.
• Plan tender strategies to support the company’s vision and business growth.
• Prepare and compile technical and commercial proposals, ensuring all submission requirements are met.
• Ensure timely tender submission and effective management of tender activities within tight deadlines.
• Liaise with Technical, Finance, and Legal teams to evaluate contract risks and financial implications.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and government authorities throughout the tendering process.
• Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, finance, operations) to gather necessary data for tender preparation.
• Negotiate, draft, and review business contracts; identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative construction methods to improve competitiveness.
• Attend site visits and tender meetings; prepare responses to clarifications.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to enhance tender strategies.
• Perform any ad-hoc tender-related tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Structure, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Building Construction Management, or related fields.
• 10 years’ experience in construction project tendering.
• Proven track record in tendering commercial building projects valued at SGD100 million or more.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project software.
