Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging classroom instruction using diverse techniques and materials to enhance student learning outcomes
• Apply teaching skills to support English language acquisition for students learning English as a second or other language
• Collaborate with colleagues to implement a holistic educational approach that supports student development across disciplines
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the needs of a diverse student body within a community-focused school environment
• Utilize knowledge of IB curriculum frameworks, specifically MYP English Language Acquisition and DP English B, to design and deliver effective lessons
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and team members to foster a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in classroom teaching with relevant teaching qualifications
• Qualification in teaching English as a second/other language
• Familiarity with International Baccalaureate (IB) programs, particularly MYP English Language Acquisition and DP English B
