about the job:

This role involves designing, configuring, and enhancing data flows between the bank’s internal platforms and external data providers. You will be responsible for setting up new interfaces, executing data migrations, running analysis through complex queries, and ensuring smooth daily operations with Level 3 support where needed. The role also covers development of automation scripts, participation in release deployments, and collaboration with business stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.

skills and experience required:

• At least 4–5 years of relevant experience in application development or support within the financial services sector
• Strong knowledge of Temenos Data Source (TDS) including parametrisation, rule configuration, and integration with data providers
• Hands-on experience with Oracle databases, SQL/PL-SQL, Python (including Pandas), and Unix environments
• Exposure to market data providers such as Bloomberg or SIX would be advantageous
• Familiarity with tools such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, Octopus, and Jira in an agile setup
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex issues independently
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and business teams
