Technician Engineer (Electrical / Transformer Projects)

We are a company specializing in transformer engineering and electrical power projects.

Job Summary

You will support site execution, testing, and technical coordination for electrical and transformer projects, contributing to safe, timely, and quality delivery. You will collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure compliance with specifications and support both site and office engineering activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform LV/HV electrical testing, inspection, and commissioning to verify system functionality and safety
• Support transformer installation, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure operational reliability
• Conduct protection system checks, functional testing, and coordinate protection schemes to maintain system integrity
• Execute QA/QC inspections to confirm compliance with project specifications and quality standards
• Prepare and maintain accurate technical documentation, test reports, and site records for project tracking and audits
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution and communication
• Support engineers in project and site activities to meet technical and operational objectives
• Manage daily operations and project coordination to help ensure milestones are achieved on schedule
• Communicate technical information effectively in Mandarin to support reporting and stakeholder engagement
• Work independently with minimal supervision while demonstrating strong initiative and a positive attitude

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• ITE or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in electrical or power-related projects
• Basic technical knowledge of transformers, LV/HV systems, and power distribution
• Familiarity with electrical testing and commissioning activities
• Basic understanding of protection systems and protection schemes
• Knowledge of inspections, and site documentation
• Strong teamwork and coordination skills
• Willingness to learn transformer operations and project support tasks
