What you'll be doing

• Conduct regular servicing and maintenance of inflatable liferafts, safety equipment and boats

• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with marine equipment, and implement appropriate repair solutions

• Complete all relevant reports, and documents of all maintenance activities and repair work

• Collaborate with the wider engineering team to optimise maintenance schedules and works

• Provide on-site support and installations onboard vessel and in camp or shipyard, where necessary

• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant safety standards

• Other duties as assigned

• On the job training provided

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Technician or Mechanic in the marine industry

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Class 3 driving license and/or electrical skills will be of advantage

• Alternate Saturdays (half day)
