KEY TASKS / RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for working in compliance with the relevant SHE-Q policies and ensures continuous improvement.
• Serve as the first point of contact for vessels by maintaining communication on technical matters, resolving challenges, initiating regular technical meetings with clear agendas, and keeping stakeholders informed.
• Conduct planned visits to units and projects with a clear agenda, fixed check lists, and knowledge of vessel systems.
• Provide technical and financial input for the rolling / budget forecast together with the crew and organize weekly technical meetings with the vessel.
• Carry out, propagate and monitor the centrally formulated technical and safety policy and comply with "statutory, Class and other" regulations and report possible improvements. Coordinate, attend, and close out vessel surveys, incidents, and audits.
• Collaborate with Docking Support / Cell on planned repairs as part of the repair team, support with technical expertise towards repair and maintenance activities executed by third parties.
• Collaborate with Project / Operations Team and crew to optimize vessel performance and production.
• Manage spare part logistics in an economically favourable way. Follow up weekly on purchase orders and motivate expenditures to the Fleet Engineer.

Experience:

• at least 7 years relevant (technical and operational) experience in maritime industry
• Technical and operational knowledge of equipment on the project
