We are looking for a driven, customer-obsessed Technical Solution Consultant to architect, validate, and demonstrate Groundup.ai solutions for enterprise and government customers π’. You will act as a strategic advisor, ensuring technical feasibility, reliability, and business value in all proposals πΌ.
Youβll work across discovery, solution design, technical documentation, PoC configuration, and post-sales transition--acting as the technical anchor for all customer engagements β. Youβll help drive operational excellence and enhance reliability programs, working closely with global engineers, product experts, and decision-makers π.
Key Responsibilities π οΈ
Solution Design ποΈ
Translate customer challenges into clear, actionable requirements and design innovative solutions βοΈ
Analyse operational requirements and translate them into robust architectural and technical designs π
Architect full-stack IoT/ICT solutions, spanning hardware, networks, cloud, integrations, dashboards, and AI models π
Create solution blueprints, system design documents, and integration diagrams for each opportunity π
Validate designs with Engineering and Delivery teams to ensure scalability, performance, and security π
Ensure designed solutions meet regulatory, cybersecurity, and compliance standards (ISO, CTM, etc.) β
Customer Discovery & Technical Advisory π
Serve as a primary technical and strategic advisor to customers and internal sales teams π€
Lead technical discovery meetings with enterprise clients, government agencies, and channel partners π’
Proactively engage and lead workshops with client engineering and IT teams to understand existing systems, data pipelines, and maintenance processes π§©
Advise customers on optimal solution pathways using internal products and third-party technologies π‘
Deliver product demonstrations, technical walkthroughs, and solution workshops π€
Configure PoCs and pilot environments, showcasing real-world capability and customer-specific value π₯οΈ
Conduct technical demonstrations and lead the Proof of Value (POV) phase for rapid validation β‘
Tender & Proposal Ownership π
Produce high-quality technical proposals, solution blueprints, and tender documentation π
Translate complex technical details into clear value propositions for procurement, engineering, and C-suite stakeholders πΌ
Create reusable templates for future tenders to improve efficiency and consistency β»οΈ
Deployment & Implementation π
Oversee technical deployment from pilot to full-scale rollout, ensuring intended performance metrics are met π
Guide the technical direction of projects to meet customer expectations and best practices π οΈ
Collaborate with IoT Engineers to guide sensor installation, data ingestion, API integration, and model deployment π
Establish and document deployment best practices, including security, data governance, and scalability requirements ποΈ
Serve as the primary technical authority on-site, resolving architecture-level challenges during deployment π§
Cross-Functional Enablement π€
Act as the bridge between engineering and sales, translating customer requirements into clear product feature requests π
Mentor and enable IoT Engineers and regional partners on architecture standards, integration frameworks, and deployment SOPs π
Work closely with Product, Engineering, Delivery, and Business Development teams to evolve platform architecture and shape opportunities ποΈ
Customer Success & Expansion π
Help customers navigate digital transformation and quantify the cost of inaction vs. implementation π‘
Provide technical insights to Customer Success to articulate business value π
Support Customer Success Managers in identifying opportunities for product expansion or deeper integration π
Function as a trusted technical advisor for strategic customers, guiding their predictive-to-cognitive maintenance journey π
Work with sales and customer success teams to ensure seamless value delivery and maximize market opportunities π
Requirements β
At least 5 years of experience in a Technical Pre-Sales or Solution Architect role in an ICT or IoT environment π
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a business-driven mindset π£οΈ
Strong technical experience in IoT/ICT systems, networking, cloud services, and system integration π
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to engineers and business leaders π§
Excellent documentation, solution architecture, and presentation skills π
Travel regularly across APAC and the Middle East for customer engagements βοΈ
Experience collaborating across BD, Engineering, Delivery, and Customer Success teams π€
Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, learning rapidly and independently β‘
Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to continuous improvement π οΈ
Strong organizational and time management skills β±οΈ
Bachelorβs degree in Business, Engineering, Automation, Industrial Technology, or related field π
Bonus Requirements π
Experience with Industrial IoT Ecosystems π
Hands-on experience in architecting or deploying IoT, predictive maintenance, or industrial digitalization solutions βοΈ
Experience with condition monitoring or vibration analysis π
Familiarity with MQTT, OPC-UA, Modbus, BACnet, CANbus, or industrial gateways π
Experience deploying IoT sensors, edge devices, or industrial controllers in real environments π₯οΈ
Expertise in real-time monitoring and automation controls β‘
Proficiency in data integration and analysis (MTBF, MTTR, MTTA) π
Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems relevant to our products π οΈ
Experience within manufacturing environments and driving operational excellence π
Predictive Maintenance / Condition Monitoring π
Professional experience with Predictive Maintenance and Condition Monitoring solutions βοΈ
Understanding of vibration analysis, ultrasound, thermal monitoring, or related domains π‘οΈ
Experience mapping asset failure patterns to technical solutions π§©
AI/ML Knowledge π€
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and ability to explain business value of AI outputs to non-technical customers π§
Understanding of predictive models (regression, anomaly detection, supervised vs unsupervised learning) π
Cloud, DevOps & Architecture Knowledge βοΈ
Ability to read or draft architecture diagrams using Draw.io, LucidChart, or Visio π
Hands-on knowledge with AWS, Azure, or GCP IoT services βοΈ
Basic familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, or Kubernetes π³
System Integration Experience π
Experience integrating 3rd-party tools (SCADA, MES, ERP, CMMS, API-based services) π₯οΈ
Familiarity with REST APIs, Webhooks, or similar technologies π
Regional Exposure π
Experience working with industrial customers in APAC or the Middle East βοΈ
Ability to navigate cultural communication nuances in enterprise environments π€

Proven experience presenting to C-suite stakeholders π
Certifications π
