About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Officer to plan, execution, and delivery of complex technology projects. You will work closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational goals.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, SDLC best practices, and project tracking tools like Jira. You will serve as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating requirements into actionable plans while mitigating risks and ensuring continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead end-to-end project management across the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

· Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, reviews).

· Manage and maintain Jira boards, backlogs, and reporting dashboards.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, QA, product, operations) to deliver high-quality solutions.

· Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and dependencies.

· Monitor progress, manage risks, and escalate issues when necessary.

· Drive continuous improvement in project execution and delivery practices.

· Ensure alignment between technical teams and business objectives.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field.

· 3 years of experience as a Project Officer or Technical Officer in software/IT projects.

· Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and project delivery practices.

· Proficiency in Jira (configuration, workflows, dashboards, reporting).

· Solid grasp of SDLC processes, including requirements, design, development, testing, and release.

· Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

· Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
