Role Overview

We are looking for a Tech Lead (project-based) to drive a key client integration project. You will act as the bridge between the client’s tech team and our internal developers, ensuring smooth system integration and ongoing platform stability.

This role is suitable for junior to senior engineers who are ready to take ownership and step into a leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a small tech team (1 frontend + 1 backend developer)
• Coordinate directly with the client’s tech team for system integration
• Ensure successful integration delivery (target: end of April)
• Provide ongoing DevOps and maintenance support (mainly bug fixes) 3 months after integration completed
• Ensure timely delivery of milestones and maintain system reliability
• Troubleshoot issues and guide the team toward efficient solutions

Requirements

• Strong sense of ownership, responsiveness, and accountability
• Able to commit to the project duration
  (minimum: integration completion + 3 months maintenance)
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, low-structure startup environment
• Tech stack familiarity: Next.js, Python (Django), PostgreSQL, Vercel (deployment)
• Ability to deliver on time with a “can-do” attitude

Bonus:

• Prior experience as a Tech Lead
• Experience with system integration projects

Compensation:

• Base: SGD $2,000 (one-time, upon completion of commitment period)
• Performance Bonus: SGD $0 – $4,500
  (based on system performance and number of users)

Time Commitment (Estimated)

• Integration phase (April): ~20–32 hours/week
• Post-integration (3 months): ~4–8 hours/week
  (Actual workload depends on experience and team efficiency)
