📍 Location: TutorJohn Learning Centre – Choa Chu Kang / Tampines
💼 Position: Teaching Intern (Primary/Secondary)
💰 Allowance: $1,200 – $2000/month (Based on Experience)
🗓 Work Days: 4 Weekdays + 1 Weekend
🕒 Hours:
• Weekdays: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM / 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• Weekends: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

We’re expanding and looking for passionate Teaching Interns who want hands-on teaching experience, structured mentorship, and exposure to the operations of a modern tuition centre.

👩‍🏫 Your Key Responsibilities:

✅ Assist in Conducting Lessons
• Support main tutors in teaching Primary or Secondary classes
• Participate in lesson preparation and resource creation
• Co-teach simple segments when ready

✅ Student Learning Support
• Help monitor student progress and assist with marking
• Provide guidance during class activities and practice sessions

✅ Centre Operations & Admin Support
• Assist with admin tasks such as attendance, materials prep, and scheduling
• Help maintain a conducive and organised classroom environment

✅ Professional Growth & Development
• Receive structured training in pedagogy and classroom facilitation
• Opportunities to observe senior tutors and learn best practices
• Potential pathway to full-time teaching roles

🎯 Who We're Looking For:

✔ Polytechnic students, undergraduates, or fresh grads
✔ No prior teaching experience required (training provided)
✔ Strong academic foundation; familiar with MOE syllabus is a bonus
✔ Passionate about education and working with children/teens
✔ Responsible, patient, and eager to learn
✔ Able to commit until the end of the academic year preferred
