Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide early childhood education for children with developmental delays or special needs
Develop and implement Individualised Education Plans (IEPs)
Plan engaging lessons to support language, motor and learning development
Work closely with therapists and multidisciplinary teams
Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
Monitor children’s progress and adjust teaching strategies
Partner with parents to support children’s development
Maintain accurate student records and reports
Participate in team meetings and professional development
Support children’s social, emotional and behavioural growth
Requirements:
Possess Diploma in Early Childhood and/or Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Intervention-Special Needs (ADESN)
At least 2 years of relevant working experience in the preschool environment or working with special needs children
Proficient in PECS, positive reinforcement and behavioral management strategies and other early intervention teaching methodology is referred
Proficient in crafting and planning of IEP
Good empathy, tolerance and temperament towards children is a must
Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
Able to work well independently as well as within a team
