Job Summary

As a Systems Engineer, you will coordinate requirements across subsystems to ensure seamless interoperability. You will collaborate with System Architects, Technical Managers, and users to design and integrate systems that accurately reflect real-world operations. You will diagnose and resolve technical issues across hardware, middleware, and IT layers while maintaining system consistency through effective change control.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and align subsystem requirements to ensure interoperability and system integration
• Collaborate with System Architects, Technical Managers, and end users to design and integrate simulator systems that replicate real-world systems and operational procedures
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues spanning hardware, middleware, and IT layers to maintain system performance
• Track, control, and document changes to simulator systems to ensure consistency and reliability
• Gather and analyze system requirements and prepare detailed system diagrams to support design and integration
• Update and maintain system documentation, including functional and technical requirements, to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Support system integration and testing activities to validate system functionality and performance
• Participate actively in project planning meetings to align technical efforts with project goals
• Apply systems thinking and integration knowledge to develop comprehensive system diagrams and solutions
• Demonstrate strong organization, adaptability, collaboration, communication, and documentation skills to support cross-functional teamwork and project delivery

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical/electronics, software, computer) or computer science
• 1 - 2 years of relevant experience in systems engineering or related roles
• 5 day week @ AMK area
