Job Title: Provision Store Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a responsible and experienced Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our provision store located in Tuas. The ideal candidate should be hands-on, customer-focused, and able to manage staff and inventory efficiently. This role requires someone who can work independently, ensure the smooth running of store operations, and maintain high standards of service and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures
• Lead and manage store assistants/cashiers to ensure efficient service
• Monitor and replenish stock levels; ensure timely ordering and receiving of goods
• Check product quality, expiry dates, and proper storage conditions
• Maintain cleanliness and proper arrangement of goods in the store
• Assist in monthly stock-taking and inventory control
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally
• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and regulatory requirements
• Prepare and submit daily sales reports and cash reconciliations
• Train new staff on store SOPs and product knowledge

Requirements:

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a retail or provision store environment
• Supervisory or team-leading experience preferred.
• Willing to work 6 days a week, including weekends or public holidays if required
• Able to handle manual work, including the safe loading, unloading, and carrying of goods.
• Independent, responsible, and with good problem-solving skills
• Preferably staying near or willing to travel to Tuas (transport allowance may be provided)
