Job Description

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of cloud-based web applications using open source technologies on AWS.
Provide technical leadership to the development team, guiding solution design, code quality, and best practices.
Work closely with offshore team for planning, prioritisation, and daily coordination.
Own the estimation, planning, delegation, and tracking of development tasks.
Review code, coach developers, and ensure adherence to architectural standards.
Oversee cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility considerations.
Manage and operate production and staging environments, including troubleshooting, incident analysis, and performance improvements.
Drive continuous improvement in system reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
Support ad hoc maintenance activities when required.
Lead and contribute to documentation covering architecture, APIs, deployment and operational processes.
Moderate project management.

Requirements

At least eight years of web application development experience, with strong hands-on skills in PHP Laravel, JavaScript
At least three years of AWS experience.
Good to have experience with Livewire and Alpine JS.
Good to have experience implementing AI functionalities.
Good to have experience with Autodesk integration.
Proven experience in designing APIs, microservices, and FE & BE separation.
Strong understanding of cyber security fundamentals and OWASP Top 10.
Experience leading a team, conducting reviews, mentoring developers, and managing deliverables.
Good communicator, able to work independently and coordinate across teams.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with good judgement in technical decision making.
A team player with initiative, resourcefulness, and attention to detail.
A positive, hands-on leadership mindset.
