Parkinson Society Singapore (PSS) is expanding, hence, this is a new position to support our growing programmes and services.

Job Description:

(1) Event and programme management – assist Social Services to prepare and plan for wellness programmes & activities, in line with existing programmes with social work lens.

(2) In collaboration with Communications, assist in advocacy through developing engaging communications via social media, and publications.

(3) Community development and partnerships – maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders.

(4) Volunteer Management – assist in coordinating & deployment of volunteers.

(5) Administrative duties – including (but not limited to) managing enquiries, record keeping, programme management and reporting.

As PSS is a niche centre to support persons with Parkinson / caregivers, the incumbent can expect to be trained in other areas of related work. Over time, with knowledge and skills, this incumbent will continue to evolve and grow both in capability and scalability.

Requirements:

- Certificate/ Diploma in community and social services/ social work or equivalent.

- Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications & designing tools such as Canva & Capcut.

- Proficient in both spoken and written English; fluency in Mandarin and/or Malay/Tamil and at least once dialect is preferred.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

- Self-motivated with a strong sense of resilience and commitment to serving the Parkinson community.

- At least 1 year of relevant work experience in the Social Services Sector.
