We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Secondary Tuition Teacher to join our team. You will be teaching Secondary 1 to Secondary 4 students across English, Mathematics (E Maths & A Maths), Science (Physics, Chemistry & Biology), and Chinese, helping them build strong academic foundations and confidence in their learning.

Candidates who are able to teach all subjects across multiple levels will be highly preferred. However, applicants may also indicate the subjects and levels they are most comfortable with.

Our Rates and Teaching Arrangement

💰 Starting Rates (per hour)

$15/hr — Primary subjects

$20/hr — Secondary subjects

Group classes: + $10/hr per additional student (same class / same timing)

👩‍🏫 Class Format

Typical class size: 1–4 students (maximum 6 students)

- Primary lessons: usually 1.5 hours

- Secondary lessons: usually 2 hours

Trial lesson: 1 hour (for students who wish to experience a lesson before committing)

✅ Trial lessons are paid as well.

🧾 Payment

We consolidate and pay at the end of each month for all lessons conducted (including trial lessons).

We currently have 2 locations: Bishan | Woodlands

🗓️ Scheduling (parent-preferred timing)

We try our best to match the days/timings preferred by parents and students, and once a trial timing is set, we usually keep the regular lessons at the same day/time (unless both sides agree to change).

📝 How our classes usually start

We typically begin with a 1-student trial lesson.

If the student/parent is happy with the teacher (and the teacher is happy too), we confirm it as a regular class.

After it’s confirmed, we may open the same class slot for additional students to join (up to our max class size).

✅ Commitment expectation**

To ensure consistency for students (and because many parents value long-term support), we require teachers to be able to commit with the students they take on until their final exams for the year.
