Job Summary

We are seeking a driven and client-focused Business Development Manager to acquire and manage Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) clients. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, delivering tailored financial solutions, and achieving sales targets while ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for acquiring New-to-Bank (NTB) customers, cross-selling a suite of business banking products, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

• Acquire new SME clients and achieve assigned revenue targets.
• Cross-sell a comprehensive suite of business banking products to deepen client relationships.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate financing and banking solutions.
• Collaborate with internal product teams to deliver holistic financial solutions.
• Ensure timely follow-up on client enquiries and provide high service standards.

Requirements

• Tertiary education in Business, Finance, Banking, or related discipline.
• Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in SME, Business, or Commercial Banking.
• Strong understanding of working capital financing and SME banking products.
• Familiarity with mortgage financing principles and regulatory frameworks.
• Knowledge of credit assessment and financial analysis is an advantage.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and client management skills.
