Job Summary:

Manage Shipments

Oversee the scheduling and coordination of both import and export to ensure timely delivery. 

Communication

Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs officials to facilitate smooth shipping processes.

Documentation & Record Keeping

Prepare and verify shipping documents, including import/export documents & GST permits; arrange port entry permits. Maintain accurate records of all shipping transactions and documentation.

Compliance

Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and company policies.

Sales Support

Respond to customer inquiries and complaints, providing timely and effective solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.

Handle and respond daily sales inquiries through phone, email, and other communication platforms, to address the client needs effectively.

Problem Resolution

Address any issues related to shipping delays, lost shipments, or damaged goods. Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.

·       Experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain management is preferred.

·       Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

·       Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

·       Proficiency in shipping software and Microsoft Office Suite.

·       Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures.  

·       SAP is desirable but not essential

·       Self-disciplined with attention to detail

·       Good time management skills
