Responsibilities

• Install, commission, service, and repair marine electronic equipment onboard vessels (e.g., navigation, communication, and automation systems).
• Perform software installation, configuration, and updates for onboard electronic systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues using diagnostic tools, schematics, block diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Conduct fault analysis and recommend appropriate corrective actions, including spare parts replacement.
• Support system testing, calibration, and integration of marine electronic equipment.
• Work under the guidance of senior engineers during the initial phase, with progression to independent service assignments.
• Liaise with ship crew, management, and ship owners to provide technical support and service updates.
• Prepare and submit detailed service reports upon completion of each assignment.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, or Marine Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in marine electronics, automation, or related field.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical/electronic schematics and technical documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
