What you'll be doing

• Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within your designated market segments

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, providing technical expertise and consultative sales support

• Understand customer needs and requirements, and provide tailored solutions to meet their specific challenges

• Collaborate with the wider team to prepare and deliver high-quality sales proposals and presentations

• Participate in industry events, conferences and trade shows to expand the company's market presence

• Monitor and report on market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback to inform the company's strategic direction

• Contribute to the development and implementation of effective sales strategies and processes

What we're looking for

• Diploma / Degree in Engineering or a related field

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role, preferably within the industrial, marine or valves sectors.

• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of industrial products, systems and applications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with customers

• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets

• Ability to work independently, while also collaborating effectively within a team environment
