Responsibilities:

• Ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the Project Quality & Safety Plan, contract requirements, including drawings and specifications
• Establish and implement controls to ensure that works are carried out safely according to the works programme
• Overseeing the construction activities and progress, planning, implementation and monitoring work schedules in accordance to the master and detailed work program.
• Ensure that all corrective action or preventive action is implemented effectively and quality records are properly maintained
• Coordinate with all parties and support site construction progress.
• Assist the Project Manager in the daily execution of work
• Assist Project Manager in monthly progress claims and monthly progress reports.
• Monitor and control progress to make sure that turnover and cost is in line with master construction program
• Checking plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy of calculations and highlight discrepancies
• Be responsible for the planning and scheduling of time for project in-charge.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline, recognized by Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Singapore
• At least 5 years’ relevant experience with good experience in infrastructure projects
• Able to lead and work independently.
• Excellent team player, good interpersonal skills and a “can-do” attitude
• Strong business acumen with strong analytical skills
• Strong communication, negotiation and planning skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment
