Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in customer 3D CAD design reviews, providing engineering feedback and
  recommendations.

• Conduct Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) reviews to ensure
  designs meet manufacturing and assembly requirements.

• Explore and understand new manufacturing technology to fulfill customer's design requirement

• Collaborate with customers, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve
  design-related issues.

• Support prototype, NPI activities from concept through mass production.

• Identify design risks and propose improvements to enhance product quality, reliability, and
  cost efficiency.

• Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, including design review reports and change records.

• Require travelling overseas

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering

• Minimum 5 years of experience in product design or product engineering.

• Strong hands-on experience with 3D CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Pro-E).

• Proven knowledge of DFM/DFA principles for assembly and manufacturing environments.

• Experience working directly with customers on technical design reviews is highly preferred.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

• Knowledge in tooling is an advantage

• Experience in manufacturing is essential

• Experience in understanding 2D drawing with tolerance analysis
