Job Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery and maintenance of operational systems
• Plan the roadmap for operational systems and priorities the rollout of features according to business needs
• Manage a team of outsourced IT professionals, providing leadership, coaching, and mentorship to ensure that the team is motivated, skilled, and aligned with operational goals
• Manage all Production issues and then review those with relevant PM, and then prioritise accordingly with relevant Stakeholders.
• Coordinate with the Engineering department to deliver functional solutions
• Collaborate with business leaders to comprehend their needs and create technology solutions that can further their objectives
• Ensure that operational systems are secure, compliant with regulatory requirements, and aligned with industry best practices
• Keep up with emerging technologies and trends in the local land transportation industry and provide thought leadership to the organization

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Information Technology, and related fields
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Good grasp and exposure to a range of software development life cycle methodology (e.g. Agile, Waterfall)
• Able to distill large complex user problems into smaller user stories
• Good understanding of UX concepts for wireframe preparation (e.g. Figma, Miro, Balsamiq)
• Ability to effectively translate business requirements into technical requirements, and vice versa
• Basic data querying, manipulation (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc) & visualization skills (e.g. PowerBI, SAS, etc)
• Experience managing an entire product lifecycle
• Has hands-on experience with web technologies
• Knowledge of project management tools such as Jira or Trello
• Has the ability to drive results and outcomes through effective leadership
