Job Responsibilities

- Plan and implement curriculum and practices to engage children during their daily learning experiences
- Design and maintain stimulating and engaging learning environment
- Plan and carry out observation and documentation of children’s learning and development.
- Prepare portfolios for each child
- Classroom management and routine care duties to ensure safety and hygiene of each child
- Establish collaborative partnerships with children's families
- Be a creative and inspiring role model with a positive mindset to the children

Assist the Principal to:
- Lead and manage the preschool in the Principal's absence
- Ensure daily operations are in order and in compliance with licensing and other regulatory requirements, where applicable
- Mentor teachers to facilitate collaborative approaches for learning, teaching and evaluation so as to improve the overall performance standards and competencies
- Implementation of specific center programs, initiatives and events
- Handle center administrative matters and enrolment
- Undertake other assignments given from time to time

Job Requirements

• Preferably at least 1-2 years experience in similar capacity
• Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education - Leadership or equivalent certificates recognized by Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA)
• Able to converse with the students in both English and Mandarin
