Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Cybersecurity Engineering scope for Offshore projects from design through to commissioning.
- Perform basic and detailed hardware design independently for Cybersecurity products and finalize Bill of Materials.
- Prepare, review, and manage engineering documentation in compliance with Offshore standards and project requirements.
- Coordinate with Affiliates, EPCs, and Clients to understand technical requirements and ensure proper implementation.
- Drive procurement including vendor interactions, technical clarifications, and support for buy-out packages.
- Deployment of Switches, Firewalls, Domain controller, Whitelisting software setup, Windows Patch Management using WSUS, setup of Mcafee EPO and Symantec SEPM.
- Conduct and lead FAT / IFAT / SAT (Factory Acceptance Tests / Integrated FAT / Site Acceptance Tests) activities.
- Provide on-site support for installation, startup, and commissioning activities.
- Manage and mentor a team of Cybersecurity Engineers, ensuring timely delivery of engineering deliverables.
- Collaborate closely with Project and Engineering Managers for complete Cybersecurity solution delivery.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Cybersecurity Engineering for DCS/PLC-based industrial automation projects.
- Skills on IT Security and backup solutions deployment for large industries, preferably in Shell Offshore Oil & Gas sector
- Excellent communications & Documentation skills.
- Ability to understand customer specifications and IT security guidelines and standards like IEC62443.
