About the Client:

Our client is a reputed IT Services Company

Responsibilities:

Test Planning & Strategy:

• Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and specifications.
• Analyze requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to create comprehensive test scenarios.
• Identify testing requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure full test coverage.

Manual & Automated Testing:

• Perform manual testing for web, mobile, and desktop applications across various platforms and environments.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using testing tools like Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG for regression and performance testing.
• Execute regression tests for software updates and new releases to ensure continuous software stability.

Bug Identification & Reporting:

• Detect, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies using issue tracking tools such as JIRA.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce defects and identify the root cause.
• Prioritize bugs and track their resolution, ensuring timely and efficient fixes.

Performance, SIT, UAT Stress Testing:

• Conduct performance testing (e.g., load testing, stress testing) to ensure applications meet performance and scalability expectations.

Test Reporting & Documentation:

• Generate detailed test reports, summarizing test results, defects, and areas of improvement.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for test cases, test plans, and test scripts to ensure repeatability and auditability.

Continuous Improvement:

• Review and update test scripts based on new functionality, changes, or updates to the software.

Requirements:

• Bachelors or higher degree preferably in Computer Science or IT
• 6 years of experience in manual and automation testing on web applications
• Highly proficient in test automation development using Java, Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, REST-Assured, JMeter
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum/Kanban
• Ability to transform manual test cases into modular automated tests
• Know-how with Java, Github, Gitlab, SOAP, REST API are plus points.
• Test automation experience on Selenium, Tosca, Robot Framework
• Strong hands-on with Java programming
