Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Application Support Analyst to join the Capital Markets IT (CMI) team, supporting business‑critical eSales and trading workflow applications for Front Office, Middle Office, and global users across a 24/7 follow‑the‑sun model.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 1 & 2 functional and technical support for eSales and workflow systems.
- Monitor applications, daily batches, and system health; troubleshoot and resolve incidents swiftly.
- Manage user requests, document issues, and ensure SLA compliance.
- Lead problem management: root‑cause analysis, long-term fixes, knowledge base updates.
- Validate Volume Credit/Markup calculations; manage STP issues and platform administration.
- Collaborate with global dev, infra, and project teams to improve reliability and automation.
Required Skills
- 5+ years in application support or development (preferably in banking/finance).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Strong knowledge of Capital Markets (FX, FI, Derivatives, Equity).
- Technical stack: SQL, Java, Python, Unix/Linux scripting, Windows/Unix commands.
- Monitoring tools: Geneos, Elastic, Splunk, Datadog, etc.
- Familiarity with brokers/clearing platforms (Tradeweb, Murex, DTCC, LCH…).
- Additional plus: XML, PL/SQL, MQ, CFT, Control‑M.
- Excellent communication; ability to simplify complex topics.
