Role Overview

We are seeking a senior candidate at Senior Executive / Assistant Manager level who can take ownership of accounting functions and contribute to process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle full sets of accounts including AR, AP, GL, and month-end/year-end closing

- Prepare financial statements, reports, and schedules in a timely manner

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements

- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations

- Supervise / guide 1–2 team members, including task delegation and review

- Work closely with internal stakeholders on financial matters

- Support audits, tax submissions, and reporting requirements

- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls, especially related to inventory control

Requirements

- Proven experience in handling full sets of accounts

- Prior experience in leading or supervising small teams (1–2 staff)

- Strong understanding of ERP/accounting systems, with ability to improve processes (especially inventory-related workflows)

- Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

- Able to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

- Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with at least 5 years of related working experience.

- Experience in trading, retail, or distribution environment is an advantage

- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)
