Key Responsibilities

• Liaison for clinical software and HL7 implementation
• To work with sales department to gather and understand customer requirements
• To work with the clinical department to learn and understand medical device and software functionality
• To work with IT department to design and implement connectivity between medical device/software and customer systems
• To work with the service department to understand medical device capability
• Manage and monitor clinical software, database, network, server utilisation, and performance
• Solid understanding of HL7 workflow and processes
• Programming of middleware for medical software
• Work with overseas counterpart on medical integration projects
• Level 1 IT support related tasks as may be assigned when not actively participating in projects (Printer, Windows Update, Ticketing System etc)
• Attend to enquiries promptly and provide good services to the stakeholders

Pre-Requisites (Qualifications & Experience)

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
• Familiar with database, storage, backup/recovery, and server virtualisation
• Familiar with HL7 v2 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Health_Level_7)
• Familiar with XML and Javascript
• Familiar with Mirth Connect will be advantageous
• Familiar with web app will be advantageous (IIS, FCM, Services)
• An advantage to having programming knowledge (.NET, C#, Java)
• Strong analytical abilities and critical thinking skills
• Good leadership and people skills
• Excellent communication (verbal, written, and presentation skills)
• Ability to organise and prioritise work based on strategic direction
• Hard-working, self-motivated, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
