Job Description
Main Purpose of Job
Secures/protect premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, permitting entry. Obtain help by sounding alarms. Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violator of policy and procedures, restraining trespassers. To maintain Security and safety in the club and provide services to Members & Guests.
Key Duty & Responsibilities
- Controlling entry and exit points to the club, checking membership cards, and verifying identities to ensure only authorized individuals enter the Club premises as per SOP.
- Providing excellent customer service to club members and guests, answering questions, and addressing concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
- Registration of contractors, guests, visitors, temporary staff, and part-timers as per SOP.
- Issuance of Security passes for contractors and visitors as per SOP.
- Car Park Management e.g., inconsiderate parking/parking in unauthorized lots/overnight parking as per SOP.
- Handling on Lightning Alert system whenever necessary as per SOP.
- Handling on Lost & Found as per SOP.
- Monitoring CCTV cameras and other surveillance systems to identify and respond to any security incidents or suspicious activity.
- Handling on outlets key management.
- Handling on Fire Alarm and burglar alarm system.
- Responding to and managing security incidents, such as fights, fire, thefts, or medical emergencies, in a professional and efficient manner.
- Conducting regular security checks of the club premises, including the parking area, to detect and prevent potential security threats or incidents.
- Traffic Control.
- Perform cash escort duty.
- Opening and locking of outlets/Room.
- Switching On/Off Air-Con and Lighting.
- Identify and report unusual or suspicious activity/occurrences to superior.
- Conduct various Spot Checks periodically as planned by Superior.
- Administration of Part-Timers.
- Keeping the SOM/SS/ASS constantly posted on all matters of security affecting the club and the Security Department.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of any incident or accidents that occurred on the premises.
- Check on daily event order/ prepare equipment such as parking coupons and any lots to reserve for VIP.
- The Security Officers should be committed to his job, reporting for duty on time as assigned.
Requirement
- Valid Security officer license .
- Education minimum GEC 'N' Level.
- Minimum 2 years experience.
