Job Description & Requirements

Century Education Group is looking for Tutors (freelance/ part-time) to provide one-on-one tutoring in Science subjects. The age of our students ranges from 9 to 18 years. The majority of our students are studying in the international schools here. We handle all direct contact with parents/caregivers throughout the duration of the tutoring assignments so there is less pressure on our tutors. Tutoring rates/ hour vary from $45 to $110 depending on the grade of the student and the tutor's qualifications.

Job Description :

• Conduct 1 on 1 tuition for primary/ secondary/ JC/ international school students.
• Prepare and customise lesson materials to the needs of the student.
• Suport student in preparing for exams and coursework.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback after each class.
• Assess students regularly according to requirements of the curriculum.
• Write term progress reports as required.
• Maintain punctuality and professionalism.

Job Requirements :

• Strong academic background in the Sciences.
• Responsible, patient and positive about teaching. We want tutors that do not give up on their students.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Prior teaching or tutoring experience preferred
• Familarity with the IGCSE or IB curriculum/ framework is an advantage
