Job Description

Our client is an established Singapore law firm looking to hire a Real Estate / Conveyancing Lawyer to join its growing practice.

This is a good opportunity for a lawyer who enjoys hands-on conveyancing work, client interaction and managing property transactions from start to completion. The role will suit someone who is independent, detail-oriented and comfortable handling a broad range of real estate and conveyancing matters.

Key Responsibilities

You will advise and support clients on a range of real estate and conveyancing transactions, including:

Private residential and commercial property transactions

Sale and purchase of HDB, private residential, commercial and industrial properties

Refinancing, redemption and mortgage documentation

Acting for buyers, sellers, banks, developers and other stakeholders

Reviewing, drafting and negotiating sale and purchase agreements, option documents, mortgage documents and related conveyancing papers

Managing completion timelines and liaising with clients, banks, CPF Board, government agencies and counterparties

Providing practical legal advice on property-related issues, title matters and transaction risks

Supervising and working with conveyancing secretaries and support staff

Ensuring files are handled in compliance with regulatory, professional and internal requirements

Requirements

Singapore-qualified lawyer with at least 5 years’ PQE

Strong experience in real estate and conveyancing work

Able to manage files independently with minimal supervision

Good drafting, communication and client management skills

Meticulous, organised and responsive

Comfortable working in a hands-on, client-facing practice

A team player with a practical and commercial approach
