Contract Period:

• 1 August 2026 to 31 December 2028

Deployment:

• Monday to Friday: 7:30am to 4:00pm (Inclusive of 1-hour lunch break)
• No work on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.
• No deployment during the entire months of June and December in accordance with the school holiday schedule.

Scope of Works:

1. Support the preparation of daily science practical lessons and practical examinations.
2. Prepare and dispense laboratory chemicals and arrange laboratory apparatus, glassware and safety equipment.
3. Collect, clean and safely store laboratory apparatus after practical sessions.
4. Safely dispose of chemicals in accordance with laboratory procedures.
5. Wash and maintain laboratory glassware and equipment.
6. Replenish laboratory reagents before the commencement of each school term.
7. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the science laboratory.
8. Assist the Science Laboratory Technician with laboratory operations and inventory.
9. Ensure laboratory materials are prepared on time for lessons.
10. Perform other related duties assigned by the Science Laboratory Technician or school management.

Requirements:

• Primary school qualification or above.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant science laboratory working experience.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory operations and chemical preparation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude and team player.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Responsible, organised and willing to learn.
