Key Responsibilities

• Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities with shipping companies, offshore operators, shipyards, and marine distributors.
• Client Acquisition: Generate leads through direct prospecting, networking at industry events, and leveraging existing contacts.
• Sales Execution: Develop tailored proposals, conduct product presentations, and negotiate contracts to close deals.
• Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activity, industry trends, and client requirements to refine sales strategies.
• Partnership Growth: Build relationships with procurement managers, superintendents, and technical managers in marine and offshore companies.
• Revenue Targets: Consistently achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Reporting: Provide regular pipeline updates and sales forecasts to management.

Requirements

• Proven track record as a hunter sales professional in the marine industry.
• Minimum 5 years of sales/business development experience, preferably in the maritime or offshore sector.
• Strong network with shipowners, ship managers, and offshore operators (advantage).
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
• Willingness to travel regionally to visit clients, vessels, and attend trade fairs/events.
• Independent, results-oriented, and resilient in driving business in competitive markets.
